Here a boat on the Ravi River ferrys people, a camel, and goods across. When we went there, in February, the flood plain was dried up, a walk of half a mile to the central channel.

It was a nice, peaceful ride across the river. While we rode back after a few minutes looking around the other side, the ride was worth the nearly an hour horse-carriage ride there.
